The State sector emits around 490,000 tonnes of energy-related emissions annually.
The public sector must play its part in reducing New Zealand’s emissions and meeting our climate targets.
How we can help your organisation
We offer co-funding support to public sector organisations to help you understand your energy use, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and facilitate equipment or fleet decarbonisation projects that will achieve emissions reduction.
If you have obligations under the Carbon Neutral Government Programme, we can support you with meeting your emissions reporting and reduction requirements.
