He angitūtanga | The opportunity

Our Evidence, Insights, and Innovation team is looking for an Insights and Analytics Advisor to help us deliver key messages on how NZ businesses can reduce carbon emissions.

An average day in this role could include:

  • Taking a deep dive into research on low carbon innovation
  • Contributing to publications alongside the team of Senior Advisors and Data Scientists
  • Interpreting findings and tailoring communication for our audience of NZ businesses and policy makers
  • Acting as the bridge between your team and the Marketing and Communications teams to ensure effective messaging.

He kōrero mōu | About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll be someone who enjoys keeping themselves up to date with technical advances in carbon reduction, and sharing this information with others to make change. You will likely have a qualification in engineering or a similar discipline, and have strong communication skills.

You’ll also have experience with:

  • The energy sector or a similar field
  • Publishing innovative research – preferably in the low carbon space
  • Interpreting and communicating technical information through written reports
  • Transforming data into actionable insights
