He angitūtanga | The opportunity

We’re looking for a Communications Advisor to join us here at the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA). We need a creative thinker to help us diffuse our increasingly important key messages – influencing energy decisions in transport, business and residential sectors.

An average day for the Communications Advisor could include:

  • Producing copy and content for a variety of channel formats (including digital, social, long-form article and more)
  • Engaging with our internal teams with their comms requirements
  • Building relationships with media suppliers

He kōrero mōu | About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll be a highly effective communicator and collaborator; someone who can drive concepts through to completion and bring people along on the journey.

You’ll also have:

  • 3+ years of communications experience in either a PR agency, Government agency or have consumer brand capability
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Strong written communication skills for a range of media.
