Objectives
To support fleet operators with identifying fuel-savings through a professional analysis of your fleet and telematics data, and a meeting with the fleet analysis provider to review your results and opportunities.
Eligibility
- New Zealand businesses with at least 20 vehicles that have telematics data available.
- Public service departments and crown entities are not eligible.
Don't have telematics data? Our co-funding for a fleet study might be a better fit. It can help you get the most out of your fleet and reduce fuel use.
What the funding covers
A fleet optimisation analysis includes:
- A survey of your entire fleet to understand your current state by looking at existing strategy, physical make-up, operational approach (including your asset management system), cost levers, and environmental outputs.
- A presentation outlining the available cost-saving opportunities identified during the survey phase.
- A review of your existing telematics data including usage and behaviour patterns.
- An audit, composition, and telematics analytics report with a list of identified opportunities for fuel savings and fleet cost optimisation.
- A meeting with the fleet analysis provider to review your results and opportunities.
What kind of project is this for?
This co-funding is for those who:
- have 20 or more vehicles in their fleet
- have telematics data
- would like to have effective processes in place for internal fleet optimisation and/or fuel management.
Co-funding is capped at 50% of the cost, up to a maximum of $30,000 excluding GST.
