He angitūtanga | The opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Advisor Impact Measurement and Evaluation to lead measurement development, monitoring and evaluation of EECA’s programmes, and for ensuring that insights about opportunities for improvement are effectively identified and communicated to relevant programme stakeholders.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
· Develop, manage, and report on EECA’s monitoring and evaluation work programme
· Work with data stewards to support the ongoing measurement, monitoring and reporting of programme performance
· Engage across government to ensure EECA is applying best practice in monitoring and evaluation and meeting the needs of MBIE as EECA’s monitoring agency
· Champion programme evaluation and design thinking in the set-up of EECA programmes to ensure goals and outcomes are clearly articulated and subsequently measured.
· Support continuous improvement of EECA programmes by working with teams to feed evaluation insights back into programme design and development
We are open to secondment opportunities from other organisations.

We are looking for someone with:

5+ years similar work experience in the public or private sector

A relevant tertiary qualification in science or social sciences (or equivalent experience)

Ability to undertake analysis and generate advice or insights

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical, data-heavy, information to a range of audiences

Ability to build relationships across the organisation

Enthusiasm for promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy in New Zealand
