EECA has an approved list of EV chargers recommended for commercial use. The list has been developed to help New Zealand businesses identify, and purchase, EV chargers that are future proofed with 'smart' technology and are energy efficient.
Recommended commercial EV chargers
It is a legal requirement for New Zealand businesses to install dedicated wall-mounted EV chargers in a workplace setting.
Smart chargers make charging safer and more reliable by reducing the risk of electrical faults or overloading your distribution board. They also give you more control over your power use and visibility of your energy consumption, helping you keep costs in check.
