He angitūtanga | The opportunity

This is a great opportunity to do meaningful work, in EECA’s small and high-performing Finance team. As our sole Senior Financial Accountant, you have the opportunity to lead and improve EECA’s financial accounting, reporting, and audit processes.  You will be responsible for ensuring the day to day accounting activities run smoothly and that our processes and policies are fit for purpose and in line with best practice.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be someone who has thinks proactively, has high attention to detail, great communication skills, and a strong continuous improvement focus.

You’ll also bring:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Strong experience in financial management and accounting 
  • The ability to build effective and enduring relationships
  • Advanced working knowledge of financial management systems (preferably Technology One and Online Banking)
