Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Regional and Sector Partnerships Team is responsible for engaging at a regional and sector level with energy using organisations, to advance energy efficiency, conservation and the use of renewables across all sectors.
We’re looking for a Regional Manager to work with regional stakeholders to identify and implement opportunities for energy efficiency initiatives and build awareness of renewable energy technologies. This role works to make connections and build partnerships within regions on both demand and supply side.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Guide and influence decision makers to improve how organisations are using energy
- Create and own strategic account plans
- Manage a portfolio of regional stakeholders and provide advice on potential projects
Regular travel is required for this role.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

Experience in and knowledge of relevant energy efficiency and renewable energy offerings, regulations, key players and market dynamics

Excellent communication and relationship management skills

Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business issues

The demonstrated ability to get results working with multiple stakeholders

A proactive, resourceful and self-starting operating style.
