He angitūtanga | The opportunity
EECA’s Commercial and Property Team is responsible and accountable for the delivery of EECA’s procurement and contract preparation and management of EECA’s facilities.
We are looking for a Procurement Advisor to contribute to the delivery and coordination of EECA’s procurement and contract preparation requirements.
In this role you will:
- Contribute to procurement lifecycle activities
- Provide quality advice on contracts ensuring compliance with All-of-Government procurement policies and best practices
- Provide timely and effective procurement support to senior procurement staff.
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience working in a customer-facing role, with the ability to build strong relationships.

A tertiary qualification or relevant work experience

Understanding of the NZ Government Procurement Rules

An understanding of contract structure, drafting and management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Exceptional attention to detail
-
Ability to deliver work with competing priorities and deadlines
