He angitūtanga | The opportunity

EECA’s Commercial and Property Team is responsible and accountable for the delivery of EECA’s procurement and contract preparation and management of EECA’s facilities.

We are looking for a Procurement Advisor to contribute to the delivery and coordination of EECA’s procurement and contract preparation requirements.

 In this role you will:

  • Contribute to procurement lifecycle activities
  • Provide quality advice on contracts ensuring compliance with All-of-Government procurement policies and best practices
  • Provide timely and effective procurement support to senior procurement staff.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships

 

He kōrero mōu | About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience working in a customer-facing role, with the ability to build strong relationships.

  • A tertiary qualification or relevant work experience

  • Understanding of the NZ Government Procurement Rules

  • An understanding of contract structure, drafting and management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to deliver work with competing priorities and deadlines
