EECA’s Contract Management team is responsible for the effective management of EECA’s complex contractual and funding arrangements, ensuring delivery partners meet agreed obligations, performance requirements and commercial commitments and enable learnings and insights to be captured.
We are looking for a Manager Contract Management to lead the Contract Management team. This is a is a key leadership role in the Delivery and Partnerships Group with responsibility for strengthening contract management practice across EECA and ensuring a consistent, high-quality approach across our contracted programme and investment portfolio.
You’ll provide senior commercial oversight of complex agreements, support your team to manage supplier and partner performance, and provide guidance on contractual risk, variations, underperformance and escalations. You’ll also build strong relationships across EECA and with our delivery partners, helping ensure our contracts deliver strong commercial and programme outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

A relevant tertiary qualification in commercial management, law, business, procurement, contract management or a related discipline, or equivalent substantial professional experience in contract management

Proven people leadership of contract management or commercial specialists including coaching and setting professional standards.

Strong working knowledge of contract terms, commercial principles and contract governance, with the ability to interpret contractual obligations and provide authoritative advice.

Commercial acumen and a business mind-set; with an appreciation of issues facing the energy industry and energy users

Demonstrated end-to-end contract lifecycle management experience including mobilisation, obligations management, performance management, variations, renewals, remediation and close-out.

Strong experience in influencing people, leading work programmes, change management and coaching and mentoring staff
