Renewable energy strategy open for consultation

Energy and Resources Minister Simon Bridges has opened public consultation on a strategy that aims to support New Zealand become an energy efficient, productive and low emissions economy.

The draft replacement New Zealand Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy (NZEECS) proposes actions that will help New Zealand make the most of its clean, renewable energy sources and use energy more productively. The strategy will guide EECA’s work programme over the next five years.
