Climate Change & Business Conference

When: 10-11 October 2017
Where: Auckland

A trans-Tasman forum for policy-makers and leaders in business and local government to meet the challenges of climate change. This year’s conference will explore what businesses need to do to succeed in a fast-changing world. It will analyse government and business decisions required to reduce emissions and to adapt. And it will examine what New Zealand would look like in 2050 if we harness the technologies and land-use changes needed to get to net zero emissions.

Local Government NZ- National Conference

When: 23-25 July 2017
Where: Auckland

LGNZ's 2017 conference will focus on creating pathways to 2050: liveable spaces and loveable places.  There will be a strong focus on future thinking and creating liveable communities. EECA will be an exhibitor with a stand presence to promote EVs

Leading the Charge – National EV Road-trip

When: 19 April-9 May 2017
Where: Bluff - Whangarei

This time travelling south to north, the 2017 Leading the Charge road-trip starts in Bluff on 19 April, running through to Whangarei on May 9.  The aim of the road trip is to talk to as many members of the public as possible as a way of promoting electric vehicle (EV) technology, and provide see/ride/drive opportunities. EECA are again a sponsor.
