This is an exciting opportunity to be part of EECA’s Business Portfolio team, which comes under our Investment and Engagement Group. By managing a portfolio of New Zealand’s largest energy users, this role will influence businesses at an executive, management, and operations level to ensure uptake of energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives by providing high quality relationship management and investment outcomes.

To fill this role, we’re looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrable understanding of the energy sector; ideally including energy efficiency offerings.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the business issues that affect the private sector and the ability to translate these into successful targeting of programmes to organisations.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration, and experience managing key stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, sales, and account management.

Above all, you’ll have passion for EECA’s purpose and strategic focus.
