Do you want to help New Zealanders to improve the way they use energy, reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, and tackle climate change? Then this may be the role for you.

The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) is a government agency whose purpose is to mobilise New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use.

This role will join our Standards and Regulations team, which contributes to EECA’s work by developing and implementing energy efficiency regulations, standards and labelling for products such as appliances and vehicles. We work closely with Australia through the trans-Tasman Equipment Energy Efficiency (E3) programme.

You will provide support and coordination for the team’s activities, as well as general administration for the Standards and Regulations team. 

The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a high level of attention to detail and time management ability, along with a collaborative working style with a drive to deliver results.
