Are you a recent marketing or communications graduate or someone with 1–2 years’ experience in the field?  Are you interested in making a positive difference to New Zealand’s energy use and carbon emissions?

The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) is a government agency whose purpose is to mobilise New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use. 

EECA is looking for someone to join its busy Communications and Engagement team based in Wellington.  We develop and deliver information and behaviour change programmes for households, businesses and the transport sector in order to reduce New Zealand’s energy-related greenhouse gas emissions. 

To succeed in this role you will have a relevant marketing or communications degree, and ideally some experience working in these fields.  Understanding of social media and web is important, along with a good clear writing style.  Above all, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude: proactive, results orientated and able to use their initiative and judgement to get things done.
