Account Manager - Market Engagement

The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) is a government agency that aims to improve the environmental, economic and social well-being of New Zealanders, through the uptake of energy efficiency and renewable energy.  We aim to influence the energy decisions of households, businesses, motorists and transport operators through the provision of trusted information and targeted programmes.

Our Programme Market Engagement Team develops and implements programmes to increase the uptake of economic energy efficiency and renewable energy, working with large energy users and government agencies.  The opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to come and join our team as an Account Manager in Wellington.. A focus of the role is building and developing relationships with key clients and stakeholders, and enabling results focused outcomes.  You will be helping clients to create change leading to greater energy efficiency.

We are looking for someone with several years account management experience and a collaborative working style to complement the wider EECA team.

You will play a pivotal role in influencing Large Energy users to create changes leading to greater energy efficiencies.  The ability to build and develop new and lasting relationships with key stakeholders, assisting them to see the benefits of potential energy savings will ensure your success within our motivated team.

As an innovative, competent and passionate individual, you will work closely with other members of the wider EECA team to overcome barriers and resistance to change, ensuring the satisfaction of the businesses, service providers and delivery partners.  This is your chance to contribute to improvements which will benefit all of New Zealand.
