Reporting requirements for registered solar retailers

EECA requires all registered retailers in the solar water heating grants scheme to report monthly on sales made under the scheme.

This monthly sales reporting is critical to the grants scheme budget.

Please note:

  • When no sales are made in a month, you should submit a 'nil sales report' showing this.
  • A sale takes place when the sales and purchase agreement is entered into, and a Grant Claim Form has been completed and given to your customer. We do not require a copy of the sales and purchase agreement with your reporting; this will be submitted with the Grant Claim Form after installation.
  • Reports can be submitted to EECA anytime between the 1st and 15th of the month immediately following the month in which the sale took place. For example, all sales made between 1 September and 30 September must be reported to EECA between 1 October and 15 October. There will be sanctions for retailers who don't meet this timeline.
  • Reports must be received by email, in the excel reporting template. EECA will not accept reports sent by post or fax, or in a different format than the template provided.
