Heating, cooling and hot water

Some heating, cooling and hot water products available in New Zealand must comply with minimum energy performance standards (MEPS) and/or labelling.

There are steps you must take to meet the requirements of the Energy Efficiency (Energy Using Products) Regulations 2002 and which set out Standards specific to individual products.
