EECA launches ENERGY STAR TV specification version 5.3

22 December 2011 - EECA is launching the ENERGY STAR version 5.3 specification for TVs on 1 January 2012. To see which TVs qualify for ENERGY STAR click here.

Consultation on ENERGY STAR for ducted heat pumps

8 December 2011 - EECA is seeking feedback from stakeholders and interested parties on the proposal to introduce ENERGY STAR for ducted heat pumps.

New ENERGY STAR LED light bulb specification

30 June 2011 - The New Zealand ENERGY STAR LED (Light Emitting Diode) Light Bulb specification has been finalised and launched to the NZ lighting industry on 30 June 2011. The effective date of this specification is 1 August 2011.

The New Zealand ENERGY STAR specification is based on the internationally recognised US ENERGY STAR criteria.
