At the same time the Government consulted on a draft New Zealand Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy, a companion strategy specifically focused on the promotion of energy efficiency, conservation and renewable energy.
Submissions on both strategies closed Thursday 2 September 2010. More infomation on the strategy is available on MED's website www.med.govt.nz/energystrategy
