This specification outlines the criteria for ENERGY STAR qualified displays.
The ENERGY STAR Displays Specification (version 5.0) was finalised on March 30, 2009.
Version 5.0 came into effect on October 30, 2009 for displays under 30 inches viewable diagonal screen size, and on January 30, 2010, for displays between 30 and 60 inches, inclusive.
