Budget 2009: $323.3 million boost for insulation and heating grants

This year's Budget announcement includes great news for Kiwi homeowners in the form of a huge $323.3 million boost for insulation and clean heating. That means warmer, drier homes for around 180,000 homes over the next four years.

The new scheme will be administered by EECA under the ENERGYWISE™ programme, and it's designed so that more households than ever before can access funding to help them improve the comfort, health and efficiency of their homes.
