Lanscaped garden over captor Rowena Jackson Retirement Village

Rowena Jackson Retirement Village, Invercargill

This project will provide valuable information on how ground sourced heat pumps perform in areas of low ambient (air) temperature such as Invercargill.

Ryman Healthcare operates 18 integrated retirement villages situated throughout NZ. The Rowena Jackson retirement village includes a care facility with 157 resthome/hospital beds, 26 serviced apartments and 85 independent town houses.

This project is related to 20 new one bedroom serviced apartments which will be supplied by five Avenir Energie DWH ground sourced heat pumps each supplying four apartments via their 310L storage cylinder.

The performance of this system will be monitored for 12 months and be compared to the performance of the traditional electric system also used onsite.
