About our business

Huntly Energy Efficiency Trust (HEET) is a not for profit trust which has been providing insulation services since 2001. We are proud to be partners with EECA and offer subsidised grants. HEET are insulation experts and retrofitting homes is our specialty. We also offer clean heating and other energy efficient devices. We install in the Auckland, Greater Waikato and Manawatu/Wanganui areas. We offer Home Energy Assessments for ceiling and underfloor insulation, vapour/moisture barriers, cylinder wrapping, pipe lagging and door draughts. Our Curtain Bank can provide refurbished curtains to low income families (conditions apply) to ensure there is a cozy zone in each house. We are conscious of the need to take care of the environment and so we use Novatherm in ceilings and underfloors. This is a sustainable polyester product made from recycled plastic which is not only environmentally friendly but safe for asthma sufferers. We provide the highest level of workmanship.
