Step 4: statistical information
Provide statistical information to EECA each year
The Energy Efficiency (Energy Using Products) Regulations 2002 require importers and manufacturers of regulated product classes to provide information about their product import, export, and sale (statistical information) to EECA by 1 August each year.
EECA is required to treat statistical information confidentially and may only publish information in a form that does not identify suppliers.

In 2008 the spreadsheets for entering data were revised to make it easier to identify your products brand and model information, provide feedback, and do bulk populations of the spread sheet by brand. The changes made mean that all previous spreadsheets may no longer be used.
To begin using the spreadsheets to provide information on your product exports, imports, and sales:
- identify your product class from the list below,
- right click on the appropriate file format,
- select "save as" and save to your personal files.
Once you've finished with the spreadsheet, save it and return it by email to regs@eeca.govt.nz.
