The carboNZero programme is the pre-eminent certification process used by New Zealand’s leading organisations, products, services and events for measuring their carbon footprint, reducing their greenhouse gas emissions and offsetting their remaining unavoidable emissions
To help organisations become carbon neutral, the carboNZero programme has developed tools, databases and other resources that are aligned with international standards and best practice scientific and accounting methodologies. These are continually updated to ensure our outputs are current and accurate.
The entire carboNZero programme is continually scrutinised via ongoing independent review, regular auditing and provision of an independent advisory panel to ensure good governance, sound principles and protocols. The result is a programme with the highest levels of credibility which is vital in this developing market.
