The EECA Energy End Use Database

EECA has developed a database of detailed end use energy consumption estimates based on national level data and a lot of specific information where available. This database contains estimates of national energy use broken down into different categories including sector, technology, end use, region, and fuel type.

EECA has also developed this web interface to allow everyone access to the data. The interface is very versatile and offers a huge range of different searches at different levels of detail.

There are two ways to use the database:

  • The Simple Version This is a simple interface that lets you explore high level data by asking different questions. It is recommended for people that want to see what the database can do without tackling anything too complex.
  • The Advanced Version This is a very versatile search interface that gives you full control over what data you can pull from the database and allowing for detailed searches of all aspects of the database. It is recommended for anyone who wants to play with the data or ask quite specific questions.
