Upcoming events
12 November: The 2009 NZI National Sustainable Business Network Awards takes place in Auckland. EECA Business is sponsoring the ‘sustainable design and innovation' award.
17-18 November: The Large Energy Users Forum takes place in Nelson, hosted by the EECA Business team and Nelson Pine Industries . This event is designed specifically for the 30 largest energy users in the country.
20 November 2009: Winners of the Tasman Nelson Environment Awards are announced. EECA is sponsoring the award for Best Use of Renewable Energy.
25 November: The 2009 New Zealand Engineering Excellence Awards takes place in Wellington. EECA are sponsors of the Energy Systems Award.
30 November - 1 December: The Sustainable Electricity Association (SEANZ) holds its conference and AGM in Auckland. The two day event will also feature an EECA-sponsored design workshop.
1-2 December: The Clean Energy Summit takes place in Auckland. EECA CEO Mike Underhill will be opening the conference with a talk on opportunities for New Zealand in the clean energy market.

- Wood Energy Summit was held on 12 June in Rotorua.
- The 2009 Awards for excellence in energy efficiency and renewable energy were held in Auckland on 21 May. And the winners were...
- The 2009 Biofuels and Electric Vehicles Conference was held on 24 March 2009 in Wellington.

The EECA AA ENERGYWISE™ Rally demonstrates the fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness of new cars and the efficiency of drivers, over a challenging mixture of roads from one end of the North Island to the other. The latest rally was held in November 2008.
